Banker Of The Day Prediction
Welcome to Todaysbanker. Here you can find your tips for bankers of the day, 1X2 tips, banker of the day odds and the best single bet of the day to use as banker bets from the best prediction site for today’s bankers.
There are hundreds of football matches every day, all over the world. As you know, not every bettor, and even you, will have enough time to analyze every single game.
And so this is what we help you do at TodaysBanker. We research the fixtures and try to spot banker bets of the day, analyze the odds from various sportsbooks and deliver safely analyzed and best bankers to help you make winning bets.
So, what we do is that, we will show you what our banker is, why we have identified it as a banker, which market it is involved with, the proof to back up our opinion and any risks that you should be aware of. Why? Because we care about you betting responsibly.
What Makes a Safe Banker of the Day?
Have you ever opened a football betting app and seen hundreds of matches, left thinking,
What on Earth do i put money on? Well, you are not alone.
This is something many a football bettor faces on a daily basis.
You may find that on the same evening you are bombarded with matches from the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, the Champions League, Europa League, and any lower tier competitions that are running.
You also have the goals market, 1X2, double chance, BTTS, correct score, handicaps and dozens of other markets to choose from.
This is exactly why we decided to come up with a banker bet. That means instead of recommending betting on ten or twenty football matches on the same day or night we recommend just one specific opportunity that our analysis suggests is worth investigating.
However, there is something we would like you to understand from the beginning. A banker cannot be a certainty. It would be quite unethical of us to claim any bet guarantees results.
We have known really strong favorites get beaten and had excellent home sides concede early goals, as well as dominant football teams go ninety minutes without winning. It is simply how football is and nobody can change that.
So when we publish a banker in Todaysbanker, we are not really saying we can see the future, but using all the information available before kick-off to pick out the strongest bet for a certain football match.
What Is a Banker of the Day?
A Banker of the Day is basically a football selection that an analyst or a tipster feels is reasonably likely to win given the evidence available.
The word banker should not be misinterpreted as referring to a sure thing or anything that cannot fail.
It is a selection that the tipster feels is more likely to win than many of the other betting alternatives being considered.
For instance, Manchester City v Chelsea.
Using this fictitious data only after taking a look at the numbers, we might see the following:
Man City has won 8 of their last 10 games
Chelsea has lost 6 of their last 8 away games
Man City has scored in 18 successive games at home.
Chelsea has conceded in 12 of their last 13 away matches.
Pretty much all their big names fit. If we, say, like the look of the home win, then maybe it could be labelled:
Banker Of The Day: Manchester City Win
But still, we wouldn’t finish there. Injury problems, expected starting XI, matches played soon, desire, games that they last played the same sort of teams in, would all be given a considered examination.
For good football betting analysis must always ask yourself not only
“Why should I bet it?” but “Why shouldn’t i bet it?”
How We Choose Our Banker of the Day
We don't choose our banker just because the team are famous, No.
We don't choose it just because they have the best odds.
And we don't choose it because everyone else on social media is raving about it.
We study various factors:
1. Recent Form
The first thing we generally look at is recent form. Let's say there are these last five games for Team A:
W - W - D - W - W
That looks decent. However, say there are these last five games for Team B:
L - L - W - L - D
From this point, Team A looks much better.
But then there is this point of debate: Who did each team play?
If Team A's four wins were against the bottom four sides and Team B's losses came against the top four, then recent form alone is of no use to us.
This is why we tend to look for more than that.
2. Form at Home/Away
One way that we love to differentiate between good bankers and poor ones is through venue specific stats.
For example, one club may have a better average than others but it may be particularly poor away. The same could go for the opposite, a club of average quality at best could be almost unbeatable at home.
Therefore for a home banker we need to be asking:
How many home games have been won?
How many goals have been scored at home?
How many goals have been conceded at home?
How many clean sheets have they maintained?
How good were the away teams that they have faced?
If we are looking for an away banker we flip it and look at how good away team performances are and how good the home team is at home to visiting sides. This provides a far better picture of a match than just reading from the league table.
3. Injuries and Suspensions
This is a stat which is ignored in so many simple prediction platforms. Suppose we spend half an hour analyzing a team and come to the conclusion that it is the best banker of the day.
- Suppose the most key forward is injured.
- Suppose the leading goalkeeper is suspended.
- Suppose two key defenders are missing…
- Suddenly our Banker is looking quite poor as there has been a change.
Team news is therefore important to us before we finally select a Banker.
4. Head-to-Head statistics
H2H can sometimes be very important, although it shouldn't be relied on as gospel.
If Club A has beaten Club B in their last 7 out of 8 matches, then they clearly tend to raise their game and will be confident of a result.
However, it's important to remember football is a fast changing game. Players come and go. Managers are replaced. Their tactics vary.
A game played 3 years ago with very different players, a different manager, a different team and a different tactic should be thought of more as a guide than as any kind of prediction.
Head-to-heads should therefore only be one part of the equation.
5. The Odds
The odds also form another critical component. Consider two selections for example.
|
Selection |
Odds |
|
Team A to Win |
1.35 |
|
Team B to Win |
4.80 |
Market is definitely favoring Team A by a significant amount. But that doesn't automatically mean it is our banker.
We need to find out if the odds make sense in relation to our analysis of the match.
This is the core of value betting.
Just because a team has odds of, say, 1.20, doesn't mean that it should be our banker.
6. Market movements
Odds often change before kickoff. Let us look at an example:
Morning price: 1.70
Afternoon price: 1.58
Before kickoff price: 1.50
This is caused by the bookmakers moving their odds in response to money coming into the market, team news, injuries, or a host of other data.
We do not automatically assume that falling odds means that the team will go on to win.
Types of Banker Bets
The banker doesn't always have to be a home win. We look at all the markets, as there's plenty on offer.
We include all manner of betting angles and have outlined a few of these popular bankers below.
Home win banker
This refers to where we are backing the home side to win. This is an attractive bet if the home side looks strong to weaker.
Away win banker
An away team can form our banker selection, where an away team with good away form appears a much stronger proposition than the host, especially where form has recently not been ideal.
Banker draw
Banker for the draw of the day is one in which the outcome is perceived to be particularly interesting.
Drawing matches is one of the toughest feats to achieve, but if it's a clear option based on our analysis, then there are few we wouldn't include as a primary bet.
Over 1.5 goals banker
Over 1.5 goals is a win if there are 2 or more goals in the match.
This type of banker bet should ideally go for a team or teams whose respective fixtures usually incorporate 2 or more goals.
Over 2.5 goals banker
If there are 3 or more goals then over 2.5 goals is a win. We have to avoid making the mistake of automatically concluding that a clash involving 2 attacking teams necessarily means over 2.5 goals.
We should evaluate current scoring, recent defensively weaknesses & other surrounding circumstances around the match.
We will not include too many of these bets in an acca banker acca as this type involves higher risk.
Both Teams To Score
Banker BTTS is win if both teams are scoring. This market should be appealing in instances when both sides have recently scored, but concede on occasions too.
Bouble chance banker
A 'double chance' covers two outcomes simultaneously.
For example, the bet is 1 X, which means a home win and a draw.
Alternatively, it can be either X 2, which means a draw and away win.
Draw no bet banker
Draw no Bet offers two way coverage. If your nominated side wins then it is a success, where the odds being matched at draw odds will result in the cash being reimbursed with reference to the standard draw rules.
If you'd be unlucky enough to lose with the chosen option then stake would have to become void, however.
This is a common reason as to why conservative customers prefer such a bet compared to a straight bet.
How to Use a Banker of the Day
Just because the game is a banker bet should not mean you should put all your money on this game, it's actually one of the worst banker mistakes mostbettors make and you shouldn’t do that.
Instead, you should use this selection as just that, one selection based on research.
If for example you have a bankroll of $100 you should first decide how much you are willing to stake, and that amount should be determined before you begin searching through the days betting.
You could then decide to place a small, predetermined percentage of your bankroll on today's bankers instead of arbitrarily varying the amount that you bet due to unusual self-belief.
This approach is known as bankroll discipline, and while the percentage itself is personal to each individual, you must have some form of system for bankrolling.
How to Calculate a Banker Bet
Works out your expected wins:
The formula to use is really straight forward:
Potential Return = Stake x Decimal Odds
For instance:
Stake = $20
Odds = 1.60
Potential return = 20 x 1.60 = 32$
Potential Profit = 32$ - 20$ = 12$
Easy table below:
|
Stake |
Odds |
Potential Return |
Potential Profit |

An Experience We Had While Picking Banker Bet
This is an example situation that illustrates how the process is important. We were doing a football match analysis session.
We had a game, on paper, where everything pointed towards a home banker.
The home team had won 5 on the spin.
They played the loser of 4 away games. The home team had scored in every home game. It felt too good to be true... Almost.
We are always looking for bankers, of course, we are close to recommending this one.
That is the only problem: we always get around to the fixtures list. And it happened to be that a major european match was happening 3 days later. Team news and prediction suggests we might see significant team rotation.
It is certainly not something you ignore when you are having a look.
Now. The home team might win, it's still possible, but is there such an overwhelming selection opportunity as there looked to be 20 minutes previously?
This is exactly why we set this type of football betting education up, to try and put things like this across.
Sometimes, the best bet is no bet. Much more profitable than telling everyone a short-priced acca is going to go in every single week.
Banker of the Day & Accumulator
The difference between a banker and an accumulator is subtle. The banker is generally a single best bet.
The accumulator is a combination bet, which includes multiple selections.
E.g.
A Single Banker
Team A to win @ 1.50
The one selection must win to secure the bet.
A Four-Fold Accumulator
Team A @ 1.50
Team B @ 1.40
Team C @ 1.60
Team D @ 1.50
All four selections must win for the accumulator to be successful.
The accumulator can theoretically pay more, but also gives more chances to lose on the ticket.
That is why a banker single best bet of the day is helpful for those punters who don't like to complicate their betting.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Banker of the Day?
Banker of the Day is the one football selection with the highest likelihood of winning it based on our team and match analysis, stats, team news etc.
Should I put a banker in an accumulator?
Yes, although you add further ways in which it could lose by doing so.
Are banker tips safe?
Yes, the banker reduces your risk but does not remove it completely as long as careful consideration is applied.
Should I always take the lowest odds?
No. Low odds do not automatically mean a given result, you should evaluate the odds in conjunction with the evidence.
How many bankers should I have on at any one time?
There is not set number. If only one selection fits your criteria then there is no problem backing only that one, there is also nothing wrong with none meeting the criteria and not betting.
